Fireside chat with Andrew Jervis, Co-Founder and CEO of ClickMechanic, one of the UK's leading online car repair marketplaces.
His grandad fixed tanks in the war. His dad built the UK's biggest Kia dealership and then sold it. His brother is a mechanic. Andrew Jervis took the family trade and built it into software.
Andrew is Co-Founder and CEO of ClickMechanic, one of the UK's leading and fastest-growing online car repair marketplaces. He started it in 2012 after writing an 85,000-word masters thesis on why the car repair industry was broken. Fourteen years later, ClickMechanic connects drivers with vetted mechanics across the UK, backed by investors including the former CEO of Just Eat.
And he's one of ours. Andrew grew up on the Isle of Man. This is the story of taking an island start and scaling it to a UK-wide marketplace.
