Right, I said I would go first.

My job is to see across all 300 of you, so let me tell you what that view actually looks like.

Most people join and never post. That is not a criticism, it is just what happens in every community, and it is the single thing holding this one back. The value in here is not the perks page or the events calendar. It is that on any given day, someone in this forum has already solved the thing you are about to spend three weeks on. Company registration, first customers, finding an accountant who understands startups, working out which grant actually applies to you. All of it is sitting in people's heads and most of it never gets written down.

So here is my side of the deal.

If you post what you are working on, I will make the introduction. That is the part of my role I am most useful at. I know who is doing what across the Island, I know which people at the Department for Enterprise and the Chamber to point you at, and I would much rather do that than have you find out six months later that the person you needed was in this forum the whole time.

I will also be in here every week, not just when there is something to announce.

Second thing, and this one is a genuine gap rather than a tip. Parking near Hillary House is the most common question I get and I still do not have a good answer for it. If you have worked out the sensible option, say so below. That is more useful to a new member than anything I could write.

300 is a decent number. It only means something if we use it.
