Event Details

AI is already influencing outputs within many organisations, often without clear control, ownership, or auditability.

For compliance and risk leaders, this creates a difficult position: accountability remains, but visibility and assurance may not.

This session explores where current governance approaches fall short when AI-assisted outputs are used in business processes, and what practical steps can be taken to regain control. It introduces a structured way to ensure AI-assisted outputs are reviewed, traceable, and appropriate before they are relied upon in decision-making, providing clarity in an area where many organisations currently lack confidence.

Who should attend:

Compliance, risk, and governance professionals responsible for oversight of data, reporting, and AI usage, particularly within regulated or high-trust environments including financial services, corporate service providers, and legal sectors.

Instructor:

Philip Gelling is a Senior Data Engineer with two decades of experience in the financial services sector. His career is defined by the delivery of complex data platforms within heavily regulated environments; including nine years at a local Isle of Man bank where he managed the integrity of regulatory reporting and auditable data systems.

It was this background in deterministic, high-stakes reporting that led Philip to develop Controlled AI Analytics Promotion (CAAP).

As the founder of Manx Data IT Consultants; Philip provides organisations with this formal governance standard to bridge the gap between AI experimentation and production-grade accountability. CAAP is designed specifically for Compliance, Audit and IT leaders. Introducing a formal promotion boundary that ensures AI-assisted outputs are reviewed, clearly owned and authorised before they are relied upon for business decisions.
